Looking for a wooden rowing seat preferably one made by Old Town during the 20s -50s or whaever years Old Town offered them for sale.Would like one that doesnt need restoration but will buy one that is all there but needs restoration. I had to put a price in this form but have no idea what someone that has one might be asking for it.
Looking for someone who has the desire to bring this old gal back to life. Serial # is 11754 and the tag is in place. At least one broken rib, missing the keel and some planking. Seats and thwarts appear to be original. I believe it's a model A with torpedo ends. It has the heart shaped decks.
16 Foot wood canvas canoe, brand new, hand built. Ribs and planking are northern white cedar. Decks and rails are cherry. A number 10 canvas is applied to the exterior with a high quality marine filler to make a waterproof seal. Marine paint applied to exterior. Spar varnish interior. These canoes weigh approximately 60#. Easily managed for transporting and portage.
From an estate, only fresh water use in the last few years and kept in a boathouse. Very good sailing rig and sails in new condition. Some rudder and hull work needed to get it back to working order. $950.- (Trailer models available ca. $500)
Built in Canada ca. 2000. This boat sat outside for a few years. It is weathered but has only been paddled twice. Can be used or tested with current canvas, but will need new canvas or fiber glass for a long life.
