This is a gorgeous 16' Old Town Yankee wood/canvas canoe from 1939, serial # 126196-16. It was fully restored in September 2018 and looks just like it did when it left the factory. Well, not quite true - this is red (my wife's choice!), the original was green. It hasn't even seen water yet. It weighs a very manageable 71#.
This is a beautiful canoe that has been carefully restored and has a great history. It has always been stored inside. We have loved it dearly, but it's just too heavy for us to wrestle around anymore. It needs a new loving home. Asking $3000/OBO.

It has a spruce carrying yoke and hand-caned ash seats. The hull is canvas covered and finished with a quality marine paint in traditional red, accented with brass stem bands.
