|1919 Old Town Charles River CanoeThis canoe has been in my family since the 40s. No one uses it any more so it needs to find a new home.
I have the original paddles and back rest. The hull needs painting, otherwise the canoe is in excellent shape.
The trailer in the picture is not included.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
|Old Town Sponson16-ft., square-stern OT Sponson, serial no. 155642. Build record indicates western red cedar planking and open mahogany gunwales.
Entire boat – wood, canvas, etc. – is sound & in good condition. Minor fiberglass repair to upper transom c. 1990. Seats don't look original. Last in water c. 1993-94; performed well. Garaged and covered all these years. Planking & gunwales would love to be refinished someday.
Trailer: very good condition; refurbished 2016, new tires 2015.
|Antique Detroit Boat Co. CanoeThis rare canoe was made by the Detroit Boat Co. during the 1910-1912 period. It is a Hudson River model. Careful and complete restoration was done in 2004-2005. We had this displayed, suspended from the ceiling in our log cabin. We recently moved, and unfortunately do not have the space for it. It is a beautiful canoe!
|1942 Old Town YankeeThis canoe was purchased new by my father-in-law back in 1942 from Utica Auto Electric and Boat Service and has been in the family ever since, used by 4 generations. During summers in the Adirondacks it was kept in a boat house when not in use and during off season, it was stored in a garage. It has not been used in over 23 years. The canoe has great sentimental value and we want it to go to someone who will appreciate it for what it is.
|B.N.Morris / Northwoods Canoe Co./ Rollin ThurlowWood / Canvas canoe. Blue hull, white freeboard, with mahogany rubrail. Mahogany deck with ash inwales. Hand caned seats. 76 lbs. This classic canoe has only been in the water two times in its 18+ years with most of the time spent hanging as a piece of art in a two story entry foyer.
|1950's or 60's Old Town 13' Canoe needs inwales, decks and new canvas. Otherwise it is very solid with a fairly clean interior. Outwales, seats and thwart solid.
|1923 Kennebec Restored Sailing CanoeBuilt by the Kennebec Boat and Canoe Co. of Waterville, Maine with Serial # 17421. This 1923 17' canoe is called a "sailing canoe" and has a short full length keel and a mast step in the event it is desired to add sail, mast and lee boards. The canoe is built along the lines of the "Kineo" model having high sides and stems ( 13" ) and good breadth of beam ( 34" ). When paddled the keel adds a nice addition to the boat's excellent tracking ability.||01/26/2019 |
